The remarkable single particle control of individual ions combined with the versatility ultracold atomic gases makes hybrid ion-atom system an exciting new platform for quantum simulation few- and many-body physics. Here, we study theoretically properties a mobile ion immersed in degenerate gas fermionic atoms. Using effective low-energy atom-ion interaction together well established approach that includes exactly two-body correlations, calculate full spectral response demonstrate existence several quasiparticle branches, which are charged analogues Fermi polaron observed neutral gases. Due to long-range nature interaction, these ionic polarons have distinct from their counterparts such as simultaneous presence stable states smooth transitions repulsive attractive increasing strength. Surprisingly, residue is shown increase density fixed strength, marked contrast polaron. only low limit where average interparticle spacing larger than characteristic length interaction. We finally analyse effects on molecular ions, bound atom-dimer states.
